This is another great suggestion . Melding artifacts would allow a lot more players to get reasonable gear and be more competitive

i agree totally. I am not saying make them cheap but the prices are to high even if you have the money.I would pay $100 to watch monkeys play but $500 for one piece of gear makes no sense.
